If you are convicted for ANY drug related offense, the Court is required to direct the Dept. of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to suspend your license for 2 years! Many of these convictions that suspend your license can be overturned if you were unrepresented by an attorney when you took a plea and if you didn’t waive your right to one.
